Welcome
INVAP
From 1993 to 1997 I was with INVAP SE at Bariloche, Argentina, working on the distributed real-time control system for the MPR (ETRR-2) nuclear reactor. As part of my work I had to travel and stay for several months in Cairo and Inshas, Egypt ( yupiii ! who said that software was boring ? )
Univ of Pittsburgh
From 1998 to 1999 I was a grad student at the Dept. of Computer Science in the University of Pittsburgh. My advisors were Dr. Daniel Mosse and Dr. Rami Melhem. I worked at the CS Department as a research assistant in the FORTS project ( mainly involved with real-time algorithms and multi-processor operating systems ).
Motorola
Since 2000 I am with Motorola at Shaumburg, IL, working on distributed real-time software ( do we sense a trend here ? ) for wide-area wireless communications systems ( I know, that's a long name but I cannot find a better way to describe it ).
